Plum Hollow is a wonderful, friendly club with a storied past.
The gem of Plum Hollow is our 18-hole course designed in 1921 by world-renowned architects Harry Colt and Charles Hugh Alison. For over 100 years we’ve been the place for distinctive Detroiters to socialize and play with family and friends. Our story includes historic moments in golf when legends of the game battled it out on our links. Today, we’re focused on providing a first-class experience for your entire family that includes golf, tennis, pool, dining, and events for all to enjoy. Come meet new friends in a welcoming setting of luxury and relaxation, your Plum Life awaits.
Charities
Evans Scholars
As the nation’s largest scholarship program for caddies, we’ve helped thousands of hardworking young men and women get to college since 1930. Our Evans Scholars Program addresses the barriers to college graduation faced by students and prepares them for a lifetime of success.
The Western Golf Association conducts championships for professional and amateur golfers, promotes the use of youth caddies and supports the Evans Scholars Foundation’s efforts to award full tuition and housing college scholarships to high-achieving caddies with limited financial means.
Applying for the Evans Scholarship
The Evans Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving caddies with limited financial means. To qualify, caddies must meet the requirements of having a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need and outstanding character.
Scholarship applications are accepted at the beginning of an applicant’s senior year of high school, as well as from college freshmen.
Eagles For Children
Eagles for Children is a program that takes the excitement of making an “eagle” and turns it into help for disadvantaged kids. Currently 18 country clubs participate in the Eagles program for a collective donation of over $1,000,000 in 2022. All funds raised are used to help kids in need. To date, over $4.6 million has been donated. 100% of all donations are donated to local charities. Plum Hollow is very proud to support this worthwhile charity.
